We are probably wearing skates more than boots these days.

I love this wall covered with stencil art in Meatpacking District of New York City.
Yesterday i sold my Trek 7.3 FX after riding it for 3 months, day and night.
It was a great bike and i absolutely loved it but everyday i rode in New York City area, i realized that i wanted a “single speed” bike mainly because i did not need the gears and “single speed” bikes looked way cooler with less cable and equipment on them. Plus they are easier to maintain, ligther in weight and you do not hear the annoying noise coming from the chains which was driving me crazy most of the time.
So, i ordered a matte black Trek Soho S and it’s supposed to be delivered at the end of this week. Very excited!
Please share your opinion if you swithced to a single speed bike before and how you felt about it.
After riding our bikes over 30 miles with my gilfriend, we wanted to stop for a while and have some drinks . We were in Williamsburg and this place called “Brooklyn Ale House” caught our eyes. We ordered Samual Adams Octoberfest, the best of all!
After having 2 pints each and throwing darts, i wanted to take a picture of us, draw my camera but the light was so beautiful, i took a couple photos of this guy sitting at the bar instead of ourselves.
I’d make a much better photo with a slr camera instead of this point & shoot Sony but carying a body + a couple lenses, especially while riding is a bitch! Still, it is a nice photo of a great moment.
I’ll try to consume as much Samual Adams Octoberfest as possible these days, it’s a seasonal beer and only available during fall.
Stay thirsty my friends!
